Anthonia C. Kalu is professor of African American and African Studies at Ohio State University. Her numerous publications on African literature include Women, Literature and Development in Africa and the edited Rienner Anthology of African Literature, and she is also author of Broken Lives and Other Stories, a collection of short stories.
